All the events of the week.

For anyone interested in housing the Committee will be looking at the Affordable Housing Bill on Tuesday. The Dáil has the Land Development Agency Bill 2021 on Wednesday, as well as statements on Drug and Alcohol Services, Homelessness and Covid-19 on Thursday.

Separately, the Students Nurses (Pay) Bill 2021 is in the Seanad on Friday and committees are looking at the Employment Permits (Consolidation and Amendment) Bill 2019 and at the impact of peat shortages on the horticulture industry.

A lot of groups are using the further lock-downs to think about how they communicate their message. The Friends of the Earth learning hub is back today, with the topic of Framing Climate Justice. Attendees will explore the most ethical and effective ways to speak, write or post about climate justice issues.

This Wednesday People Before Profit is hosting a public talk on Mother and Baby Homes Scandal – Time to Separate Church and State. Speakers include Una Mullally, Goretti Horgan, Deirdre Wadding, Gerry Carroll and Brid Smith.
